Designed with consideration
Client promisePrimary navigation, forms and interactive controls are designed to remain operable without a mouse.
Headings, labels, focus states and contrast are considered across storefront and account journeys.
Accessibility feedback is reviewed as part of ongoing design and engineering improvements.
Saffron Silk aims to provide an inclusive shopping experience and uses WCAG 2.2 Level AA as an improvement benchmark. Accessibility is considered across navigation, product discovery, account, cart, checkout, support and editorial content.
We work to provide logical heading order, semantic landmarks, descriptive page titles, visible keyboard focus, accessible names for controls, and interactions that do not require a mouse. Controls should remain usable with keyboard and common assistive technologies.
Text and essential controls are designed for readable contrast and responsive enlargement. Information should not rely on colour alone. Motion is reduced when a device requests reduced motion, and layouts are reviewed across mobile and desktop sizes.
Meaningful images receive text alternatives, decorative images are hidden from assistive technology, and form fields use labels and useful error messages. We continue improving captions, transcripts and equivalent information for video-led content.
Some third-party payment, social, courier, media or authentication experiences are controlled by their providers. We test important journeys and work with providers where an external component creates a barrier, but their accessibility can change independently.
If any part of the site prevents you from browsing, ordering, tracking or contacting us, use the Contact page and describe the page, device, browser, assistive technology and task. We will offer a reasonable alternative and prioritise a fix.
Accessibility is not a one-time claim. We include it in design and engineering review, monitor feedback and improve content and components over time. This statement is updated when our approach or known limitations materially change.
This site targets WCAG 2.2 AA conformance: visible keyboard focus indicators, semantic landmarks and heading structure, sufficient color contrast, and reduced-motion support for users who prefer it. If you encounter an accessibility barrier, please contact us so we can address it.
